The body naturally eliminates the residue
after a Lipo-dissolve session over the course of the next four weeks.
Side effects of Lipo-dissolve can include swelling, bruising, discomfort
or itching. Lipo-dissolve for localized fat pads was first performed
by the Italians in 1984. Since then physicians all over the world
have successfully used the Lipo-Dissolve procedures on thousands of
patients. Beta-blockers (used in treating high blood pressure) and
certain thyroid conditions can interfere chemically with the procedure
and the physician must be notified. The active ingredients are derivatives
of soy. It is thus contraindicated in patients with soy allergy. Phosphatidylcholine
(PC) is the primary constituent of Lipo-dissolve treatments. PC makes
up 40% of our cell membranes and is found throughout our bodies. It
has been used medically for over 70 years. In 1997 the FDA reported
PC was used in 679 cosmetic products. Fat Reduction:
Treatment typically involves a series of injections administered by
a Physician in a clinical setting. Typically six to eight treatments,
one month apart, are required to achieve the desired results for fat
reduction. For cellulite reduction, at least ten to twelve treatments
every two weeks are required to improve the appearance of the skin.
The areas that respond best to Lipo-dissolve treatments (in those
who are not excessively overweight) are certain stubborn fat deposits
that resist further reduction after following a good diet and exercise
program. These injections modify body contours (Body Sculpting) and
do not work if the patient is gaining weight. Lipo Dissolve has also
been shown to improve and smooth out the skin. Also used to treat
Lipomas. The areas that can be treated include:
- Facial jowls
- Knees
- The abdomen
- Love handles
- Backs of arms
- Inner thighs
- Area above and below the bra-line
- Thigh saddlebags
Lipo-dissolve: the non-surgical alternative to Liposuction:
Lipo-dissolve offers several advantages over liposuction since no
surgery is required for Lipo-dissolve. It is therefore faster, less
expensive, safer, more comfortable and can be fine-tuned during
the course of treatment to achieve optimal results.
- Safety: there is no need for general anesthetic(1 in 10,000
people can die from general anesthetic)
- Control: the result can be fine-tuned over the course of treatment
- Ease: pain is easily managed during and after the procedure
- Appearance: there is minimal bruising with no stitching required
- Speed: Lipo-dissolve has a relatively short recovery period
allowing for a rapid return to work on normal activities: no hospital
stay is required
- Cost: Lipo-dissolve has a substantially lower cost than other
methods of fat removal.
In fact, Lipo-dissolve is now being used to help improve cosmetic irregularities which can occur after surgical lipo-suction. Furthermore, lipo-suction does not improve cellulite: only Lipo-dissolve has been shown to improve the skin texture in cellulite. |
